NASHVILLE, Tenn.– The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is proud to announce the latest addition to our team, Dillon Matthews, a distinguished veteran who is the first full-time hire to come out of Gov. Bill Lee’s Veteran Fellowship Program.

The Veteran Fellowship Program is focused on creating opportunities to engage life experiences of the best and brightest veterans transitioning into civilian careers. Dillon is joining TEMA as the newest training manager and brings with him a wealth of experience as he joins the agency from the 160 Special Operations Aviation Regiment where he last worked as a Training and Operations Manager.

“Dillon has demonstrated his ability to adapt to new challenges, work collaboratively, and bring a fresh perspective to emergency management,” said TEMA Director Patrick Sheehan. “He exemplifies the dedication, leadership, and commitment that our veterans bring to the civilian workforce.”

TEMA is committed to supporting veterans and the invaluable skills and experiences they bring to our workforce.
