LTSS Qualified Assessor Training
TennCare LTSS will only accept HCBS Pre-Admission Evaluations (PAE) assessed by individuals who have been deemed a Qualified Assessor (regardless of PERLSS submitter). This qualification will be assigned by LTSS for each individual that meets the LTSS Qualified Assessor requirements and will be given a unique assessor code. This code must be documented on the PAE with the Assessor Certification signature. These codes must be renewed each year by completing the refresher trainings below and submitting an attestation for renewal.

Each HCBS Qualified Assessor is required to complete the HCBS Qualified Assessor Refresher Training and sign the attestation once a year.
The attestation is at the end of the training.
Each Employment and Community First CHOICES Qualified Assessor is required to complete the Employment and Community First CHOICES Qualified Assessor Refresher Training and sign the attestation once a year.
The attestation is at the end of the training.
