The purpose of the RFP is to secure contracts with managed care organizations (MCOs) to provide integrated behavioral and physical health services on a financial full-risk basis to TennCare enrollees in the East and West Tennessee regions.

Part of the RFP response process includes the requirement that all proposers submit “Contact Memorandums” from a specified number of providers for selected provider types and services. The provider contact memorandum enabled proposers to begin this process prior to the RFP release date.
