Dental Services

Doral Dental of Tennessee, LLC administers the dental program and contracts with providers. For information on contracting and credentialing, call 1-888-554-5542.

Since the carve out of dental services in October 2002, the dental provider network has grown by 120 percent.

Dentists are encouraged to join the dental network in rural areas where they are most needed.

The Tennessee Dental Association & the Pan Tennessee Dental Association continually report a high level of satisfaction among their participating member dentists.

Tennessee dentists, widely, participate in the "No Child Overlooked" program. "No Child Overlooked" is an initiative of the Tennessee Dental Association and the PAN-Tennessee Dental Association. It is designed to provide quality dental care for underserved children in Tennessee.

Dentists volunteer their time to provide dental screenings to children
(under the age of 21) at community events. The goal of the program is to inform families of the health benefits they will gain from routine dental services.

Tennessee Dental Advisory Committee

A group of individuals interested in improving the oral health of Tennessee children was formally constituted as the Tennessee Dental Advisory Committee in Oct 2002.

The TennCare Dental Advisory Committee reviews and makes policy recommendations to the Bureau and assists in the continued development and improvement of this National model program.
