Legal & Regulatory Affairs

The Legal and Regulatory Division encompasses a variety of programs and tasks. The division coordinates the Commission's interaction with the Tennessee Legislature in addition to conducting various regulatory functions, including Title VI compliance.

Additional regulatory functions consist of veteran's education benefits and authorization of proprietary and non-traditional, not-for-profit educational institutions. The division is also charged with the administration of the tuition discount and fee waiver programs.
