The
division of Policy, Planning and Research is charged
with various tasks dealing with Tennessee's higher
education policies and legislation. The
Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA) mandates the collection,
analysis, and dissemination of data documenting the
performance of public higher education.
Among
the policy-influencing directives listed at left,
there are several studies, reports and/or data analysis
being conducted by the division of Policy Planning
and Research to assist in the decision-making processes
of institutions and legislators to assure a bright
future for Tennessee higher education.
