Commission releases Overview of Fall 2004 Recipients of the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship Program (PDF)

Pursuant to T.C.A. §49-4-903(b), the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) is to annually report findings related to the lottery scholarship program to the General Assembly at the beginning of each legislative session. The document referenced above presents an initial overview of the first cohort of Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship recipients by select demographic and academic characteristics.

NASA Marshall Space Flight Center is in the process of coordinating the re-competition of the NASA Education Resource Center (ERC) for the state of Tennessee at a Tennessee college or university. Right now our agreement is with the University of Tennessee-Martin, which expires in August 2004.

The ERC provides expertise and facilities to help educators access
and utilize NASA science, mathematics, and technology instructional
