Nashville, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Tourist Development Commissioner Kevin Triplett teamed up with Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant to launch the department’s “The Soundtrack of America. Made in Tennessee” merchandise, including t-shirts, women’s V-neck tees, men’s polos, tank tops, coffee mugs, hats, water bottles and even onesies for babies who were actually made in Tennessee.

The mission of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is to inspire visitors to travel to the state and create lifelong memories and authentic experiences that can only be “Made in Tennessee.”

“The Soundtrack of America is, of course, music, but it is so much more,” Commissioner Triplett said. “It is collection of sounds that stir memories that make time in Tennessee enjoyable. It starts with what we have; the music, history, culture and experiences. All visitors have to do is listen, to the music or the complete quiet of a spot in the mountains or the flow of water while standing on the banks of a river. These items are reminders of those memories guests can take with them. Symbols to show they created their own soundtrack."

Whether it’s the scenic beauty of the great outdoors, a stop through a quaint town or trip to a big city, communities pride themselves on Southern hospitality, welcoming travelers to Tennessee from around the world. These unparalled experiences create a vacation that is “The Soundtrack of America. Made in Tennessee.”

Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant Owner Andy Marshall says “We are proud to partner with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development on this launch. Commissioner Triplett and his entire team do great work across our state, which is invaluable considering the major economic role that tourism plays in Tennessee’s economy.”

This marks the first time Tennessee Tourism merchandise will be sold to the public. You can also order merchandise directly at tnvacation.shop.colortestmerch.com.
