John T. Majors: A Tennessee Football Legend As Player and Coach

At Huntland High from 1950 through 1952, Majors was the state scoring leader with a combined total of 527 points (161 points
as a sophomore in 1950; 153 points as a junior in 1951; and 213 points as a senior in 1952). Huntland was 30-1 during Majors’ three years there, and an incredible 70-1 from 1950 through 1956, under Coach Shirley Inman Majors.
