Crops planted: 12 acres total:  6 acres millet, 6 acres sunflowers bush hogged

Hunt dates:   Sept 1(at noon).  Same as the statewide season.

Directions:    From Sparta, TN take TN-111 S. Turn left onto Old Union Rd. Then turn right onto Hickory Valley Rd 1.2 mi Continue straight onto Big Bottom Rd. Go 1.4 mi until Big Bottom Rd turns slightly left and becomes White's Cave Road. Turn right at the turn.

Directions: From I-40, take exit 320 and turn North onto TN-298/Genesis Rd. Drive 5.3 miles and turn right onto Fox Creek Trail. The field will be on the left.

No access is permitted by boat.  Nontoxic shot approved by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is required for small game hunting. 

Directions:  From Dayton TN travel on HWY 60 into Meigs County, turn left onto Shadden Road, turn right onto Blythe Ferry Road, turn left onto Priddy Lane.

Hunt dates:   Sept. 1 is by handheld drawing only.   Sept. 2 through the remainder of the season, same as the statewide season.  

Drawing to be conducted on August 26 at Independence Community Center. Drawing sign-up beigins at 4 p.m. local time. Drawing will be held at 5 p.m. local time. Hunters must be present to be drawn.

Directions:  From Livingston, Take Hwy 111 North toward Byrdstown. Travel 3.6 miles to Hwy 294 (Willow Grove Hwy). Turn left and travel 5.2 miles. Turn left on Independence Road. Travel 0.4 mile and the WMA is on the right.

Directions:    From Hwy 70 near Kingston take Caney Creek Road to Bowman Bend Road. Drive on Bowman Bend until you arrive at the WMA.

Rogers Tract:

Hunt dates: Sept 1(at noon). Open statewide but limited to Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday only.

Directions: From Hixson Pike turn onto and travel north on Middle Valley Road, approx. 1 mile turn onto Lower Mill Road WMA parking lot near 1400 block of Lower Mill Road.

Directions:     From Smithville, TN take TN-146 S 8.7 miles. Then make a sharp right onto Pea Ridge Rd. Proceed 5.0 miles and turn right onto Herman Rd.

Hunt Dates:   Sept 1 at noon.  Open with statewide season.   Must pick up all empty shotgun hulls and trash when leaving.

Directions:   Approx. 1/2 mile past big game check station look for dove field signs, the fields will be on both sides of the road.

Directions:  700 SR-360 Vonore, TN 37885 (Turn left off of state route 360 Tellico Lake WMA/McGhee Carson sign, fields will be on the left)
