Satellite Facility License

This permit allows a licensed winery or farm winery, or up to three licensed wineries, to operate a satellite facility. Generally, the winery can perform all functions at a satellite facility that it can do at its winery premises except manufacture and bottle wine. For example, at a satellite facility, the winery can sell its own wine for either on-or-off-premises consumption and can offer samples of its own wine, either complementary or for a charge.

Requirements

• The application for a Satellite Facility must be approved by the TABC commission at a regular monthly commission meeting. A completed application must be received in RLPS two (2) weeks prior to the next Commission Meeting in order to be considered for placement on the next Commission Agenda.
  

Restrictions

• A winery or farm winery cannot operate more than two satellite facilities.
