Wine Making On-Premises License

A winemaking on-premises facility license allows a business to rent space and equipment, and sell ingredients, to individuals to manufacture and bottle wine at the business premises for personal use.

A winemaking on-premises facility license is valid for one (1) year.  You can apply for this license using RLPS.

Requirements

  • The application for a winemaking on-premises facility license must be approved by the TABC commission at a regular monthly commission meeting. The application for a Winemaking On-Premises license must be approved by the TABC commission at a regular monthly commission meeting. A completed application must be received in RLPS two (2) weeks prior to the next Commission Meeting in order to be considered for placement on the next Commission Agenda.

Restrictions

  • Except for wine produced for testing recipes or equipment, and producing samples for clients to taste, the license holder cannot manufacture wine that is not intended for the personal use of the license holder on the premises of the winemaking on-premises facility.
