Licensing

Consumer Educational Seminars are permitted by the TABC and conducted by the designated retail establishment, or package store. An application requesting permission to conduct an educational seminar may be submitted by the retail establishment. Form must be completed and notarized by owner of retail establishment. Application and accompanying paperwork must be delivered to TABC office four (4) calendar days prior to the event.

Retail liquor store license is for selling liquor by the bottle to individuals for off-premise consumption. A completed application and all required documentation must be received in the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission Nashville office two (2) weeks prior to the commission meeting in order to be considered to be placed on the next Commission Agenda.

Wholesale liquor license is for wholesalers distributing wine and liquor to TABC licensed Tennessee retail liquor stores, and TABC licensed Liquor-By-the-Drink establishments. A completed application and all required documentation must be received in the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission Nashville office two (2) weeks prior to the Commission Meeting in order to be considered to be placed on the next Commission Agenda.

Food Affidavit

A private club is a non-profit association organized and existing under the laws of the State of Tennessee, which has been in existence and operating as a nonprofit club for at least two (2) years prior to the application for the liquor license. You must have at least one-hundred (100) dues paying members, with suitable kitchen and dining room space for the members and guests
