| Description | Partnering with TNSRO and TLETA, this FREE 2-day course is for school resource officers or school safety officers. This course will provide students with information on the many roles of an SRO and the responsibilities required of an SRO to include legal issues. Officers will be provided information regarding School Safety, Interacting with Youth and overcoming Barriers as well as emerging issues for the SRO. There will be a curriculum development event on the evening of June 26, 2024. Students will be required to attend this event as it is part of the course requirement (meal provided by TNSRO). |
