District Resources

Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 7-86-302(a), the Tennessee Emergency Communications Board was created for the purpose of assisting Tennessee’s one hundred (100) emergency communications district boards of directors in the areas of management, operations, and accountability, and establishing emergency communications for all citizens of the state.

The Board exercises limited financial and operational oversight over emergency communications districts and is charged with establishing technical, operational, and dispatcher training standards.

Here you will find information and resources useful for the management and operation of local emergency communications districts, including budget and accounting information, technical standards, forms, and recent newsletters.
