Earlier this month, Rebecca Stacks wrote a note to East Region DCS staff Kristen Bohannon, a DCS Family Service Worker and Katie Butler, a DCS Independent Living Specialist.  She has given DCS permission to publish it.

Chelsea Clark, a college sophomore, received the keys to a free 2006 Mustang this week -- a gift donated to her by Jaimee Brown, who chose to give her car to a young person who had been in foster care.

Darrah Hall is a true example of what determination, courage and perseverance looks like. Darrah exited DCS custody at age 15 to Subsidized Permanent Guardianship with her aunt. Darrah was connected with the Office of Independent Living to access the Bright Futures Scholarship funds from DCS.
