Engagement Councils

Through engagement councils, the department facilitates opportunities for stakeholders to provide input and engage with the department to move our state and its students forward through engagement councils. Each council meets virtually on a predetermined cadence to discuss progress, make recommendations, and provide feedback on the implementation of Best for All and the department’s initiatives, as well as other topics. Members are volunteers who share an expert knowledge of the council’s subject manner. The engagement councils have no legislative, administrative, or programmatic authority.
