Internship Program

A Note from the Intern Advisor

Dear Students,

The goal of the internship program at the State Capitol is to provide college students with an enriching work experience that promotes both citizenship and scholarship. Interns are assigned to work directly with the senior and support staff of each department inside the Governor’s Office.

Specific duties might consist of utilizing effective writing skills, researching current issues, assisting with and attending events, as well as various administrative activities within the departments.

Internship positions are unpaid, and applicants are required to receive college credit through their academic institution. All interns must report in-person to the Capitol to receive internship credit. We take interns for the fall, spring, and summer terms and consider applicants on a rolling basis. Please use the link below and denote the term for which you are applying.

Warmest Regards,

Christian Potucek
