Americans with Disabilities Act
The U.S. Department of Justice Americans with Disabilities Act website provides the ADA statute, ADA title II and III regulations, technical assistance materials, enforcement information, and general ADA information.

American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is the nation's premier emergency response organization. As part of a worldwide movement that offers neutral humanitarian care to the victims of war, the American Red Cross distinguishes itself by also aiding victims of devastating natural disasters. The American Red Cross also offers compassionate services in five other areas: community services that help the needy; support and comfort for military members and their families; the collection, processing, and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products; educational programs that promote health and safety; and international relief and development programs.

Area Agencies on Aging and Disability
The Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability provides links and contact information for nine regional area agencies on aging in Tennessee.

Community Emergency Preparedness Information Network (CEPIN)
The CEPIN website is designed to promote awareness among emergency responders and all people with disabilities. It was also developed to set the stage for collaboration before disasters strike.   CEPIN also encourages networking among emergency responders and people with special needs for the purpose of creating these connections on a local level.

Compassion Coalition
Compassion Coalition is a faith-based organization that helps connect those in need with churches, ministries, and agencies in the Knoxville community.

Disability and Law Advocacy Center of Tennessee
Disability Law & Advocacy Center of Tennessee (DLAC) advocates for the rights of Tennesseans with disabilities to ensure that they have an equal opportunity to be productive and respected members of our society.

East Tennessee Human Resources Agency 
This regional delivery system was designed to operate in partnership with the Tennessee General Assembly and local officials in the 16-county region known as East Tennessee. ETHRA provides a range of 50 programs and services.

Easter Seals Project Action
Easter Seals Project Action promotes universal access to transportation for people with disabilities under federal law and beyond by partnering with transportation providers, the disability community and others through the provision of training, technical assistance, applied research, outreach and communication.

kidcentraltn.com maintains a valuable website that pulls content from across state departments, making it easier for families, and professionals working with families, to find the services and resources they need. kidcentraltn.com provides the following features: information on children's Health, Education, Development, and Support; a Searchable Directory of State Services for children and families; a My Profile section where families can track their child's developmental milestones; a Mobile App to easily search for services and keep data at your fingertips; and a Facebook page. kidcentraltn.com is a project of the Governor's Children's Cabinet.

Local Health Department Clinics
The Tennessee Department of Health provides contact information for each county’s health department, including clinical services.

Meals on Wheels 
The Meals On Wheels Association of America is the oldest and largest national organization composed of and representing local, community-based Senior Nutrition Programs in all 50 U.S. states, as well as the U.S. Territories. These local programs are our MOWAA Members.

Salvation Army 
The Salvation Army is officially recognized by federal, state and local governments across the country as a sanctioned disaster relief and assistance organization.

Tennessee Association of the Deaf (TAD)
TAD is a state association affiliated with the National Association of the Deaf and the local chapters across Tennessee. It serves as an advocate for more than 500,000 deaf and hard of hearing people living in Tennessee.

Tennessee Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC)
The Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability's ADRC provides information and assistance to older persons, adults with physical disabilities, caregivers, and professionals looking for services or programs available in Tennessee.

Tennessee Department of Health (TDH)
The Tennessee Department of Health works to protect, promote and improve the health and well-being of Tennesseans and those who visit our great state. Keeping people healthy by preventing problems that contribute to disease and injury is the overall emphasis of the department.

Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS)
The mission of TDMH is to plan for and promote the availability of a comprehensive array of quality prevention, early intervention, treatment, habilitation and rehabilitation services and supports based on the needs and choices of individuals and families served.

Tennessee Disability Pathfinder
Tennessee Disability Pathfinder is a free, statewide, information and referral service for persons with disabilities, family members, service providers, and advocates. Pathfinder offers toll-free bilingual HELPline (1-800-640-4636) and online database of resources. Assistance is available in English, Spanish, Kurdish (Sorani and Bahdini dialects), and Persian. Tennessee Disability Pathfinder is a joint project of the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Vanderbilt Kennedy University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.

Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA)
The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency has the mission to coordinate emergency management response and recovery to reduce loss of life and property in the State of Tennessee.

United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
UMCOR is the humanitarian relief and development agency of the United Methodist Church, a worldwide denomination. UMCOR responds to natural or human made disasters in the U.S. by providing immediate relieve, securing long-term recovery, and partnering with other organizations to maximize resources and effort.

United Way of Tennessee
United Ways of Tennessee brings together people and resources in our state to help meet the needs of our friends, neighbors, co-workers and families. A list of local United Way organizations is located here. 2-1-1 Tennessee is a United Way program that provides a community services help line. 2-1-1 provides free and confidential information and referrals for food, housing, employment, health care, counseling and more.

Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA)
The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency aims to improve the quality of life to residents of the 14-county area.  UCHRA’s vision is to create a new direction to move people from dependence to independence.
