Stacy Gibson is an assistant commissioner at the Department of Revenue.  She is responsible for managing the Department’s Audit Division and also serves as Revenue’s liaison with the Department of Economic and Community Development.  Prior to her role as assistant commissioner, Stacy served as the director of the Audit Division beginning in 2004. Stacy first joined the Department in 1999 as an administrative hearing officer. Prior to her time at Revenue, she served as an assistant attorney general in the Attorney General’s Tax Division and worked in a private law practice.  She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, Vanderbilt University Law School, and the Tennessee Government Executive Institute (TGEI).
