The Tennessee Department of Transportation Utilities (TDOT Utilities) Division is responsible for coordinating and managing the relocation of utilities and railroad facilities throughout the State of Tennessee during roadway construction. The Utilities Division is also responsible for permitting Utilities who request to locate on the State’s ROW as outlined in the Rules and Regulations for Accommodating Utilities on State ROW. The Division works very closely with the Right Of Way (ROW) Division and the design division to limit the impact Utilities have on the actual roadway construction
