Where to Reinstate Your Driving Privileges

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security provides a variety of convenient ways to reinstate your driving privileges: 

In-person reinstatements are not processed at 1150 Foster Avenue in Nashville. Please see the Driver License Reinstatement Centers below.
 

Online

For the quickest reinstatement method available use e-Services online. To be eligible to reinstate online, a driver must know their Tennessee Driver License number and the last name as it appears on their Driver License. Additionally, online reinstatement requires a valid credit/debit card for payment.


In Person at a Driver Services Reinstatement Center

Visit one of the Driver Services Reinstatement Centers listed below to process your reinstatement in person.

NOTE: Days and hours of operation for reinstatements vary by location. Before proceeding to a Reinstatement Center, be sure to check the Closure Advisories.

NOTE: Reinstatement Centers may stop taking applicants before the listed closing time to be able to assist all the applicants in lint before the end of the business day. For example: Closing time for reinstatements may be listed as 4:30 p.m. but we may stop taking applicants at 2:45 p.m.

Driver Services Center personnel cannot give license reinstatement requirements over the phone. To receive reinstatement requirements, contact the Reinstatement Call Center toll-free at 866-903-7357 or click on View Reinstatement Requirements under Reinstatements in e-Services.
