February 20: Tuwanna McDaniel, MBA, BSN, RN, CCM and Pamela Prude, BSN, RN

Tuwanna McDaniel, MBA, BSN, RN, CCM and Pamela Prude, BSN, RN started Professional Allied Health LLC as an answer to the Healthcare shortage.

Tuwanna has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years specializing in caring for the maternal health population working with exceptional companies and people. As a certified case manager for the high-risk Medicaid maternal and NICU population she has implemented two maternal health programs and worked as case manager in three programs. A great accomplishment with this population was the management of the Breastfeeding Hotline for women all over the state. Tuwanna’s most recent experience includes working as a Provider Clinical Liaison for a well-known managed care organization where she was responsible for managing the quality and medical  expense goal metrics for more than 20 primary care and pediatric groups in Tennessee.

Pamela has a 23-year background as a Registered Nurse within the Tri-State area. She has a background in adolescent psych, obstetrics, gynecology, and in case management. Pamela recently worked as a CHOICES Care Coordinator with a well-known health care insurance organization, assessing the needs of patients eligible for long-term care service and support (LTSS) and coordinating their care. Pamela accomplished a leadership position with a highly noted psychiatric facility for almost a decade. In her nursing career within the acute setting of hospitals she has dedicated herself to mentoring and training new hire nurses.

Together, Tuwanna and Pamela have set out to give Certified Nursing Assistants a professional, quality education. Since 2021, Professional Allied Health has paved the way for over 150 students in the Healthcare industry within Tennessee. Professional Allied Health continues to maintain a 97% pass rate with the Tennessee Board of Health and has expanded their programs to include Certified Phlebotomy Technician and Certified Patient Care Technician. Professional Allied Health LLC will continue to strive to be the premiere short term training facility in West Tennessee.
