Report an Accident
1 | Cease Operation of Device
Cease to operate any elevator or related device upon which a fatality, serious physical injury, or serious incident has occurred.
2 | Report the Accident to the State
An owner/ operator must report any accident immediately involving serious physical injury or fatality involving elevators or other related devices. Immediately contact the Elevator Inspector Supervisor at (615) 253-1375.
3 | Resume Operation after Authorization
The cessation shall remain in force until the State of Tennessee Elevator Unit has release the device for operation.
