TECB’s Virtual Academy Sign Up

The Tennessee Emergency Communications Board is pleased to announce open enrollment in the TECB’s Virtual Academy.  Eligibility is open to those who answer an initial or transferred 9-1-1 call, or who is an employee of a 9-1-1 District in Tennessee.  To register, jurisdictions should “…contact Tiffany Coble, Virtual Academy Partner Support at tiffany.coble@virtualacademy.com.

TECB V-Academy Sign Up Process

• Determine a primary point of contact for the agency.  This person is responsible for the management of the learning portal for the local agency and can be a Training Officer, Supervisor, or Administrator.  The following is needed for the primary point of contact:
  
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Unique email address (Work or Personal)
  • Agency Name
  • Agency City
• Collect the following information for each user.
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Unique email address (Work or Personal)
  • Position in Agency  (Select from below)
    • TC -            Telecommunicator
    • CTO -        Communications Training Officer
    • Super -    Supervisor
    • GIS -          Mapping/GIS
    • Admin –   Administrative
• Submit list via email to Jennifer.Schwendimann@tn.gov  
  
• Registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail within 15 days granting access to the site.
