Protest Law Change
Tennessee Motor Vehicle CommissionThe Tennessee General Assembly has amended T.C.A. 55-17-114 ( c ) (20) with respect to the time a licensee has to file a protest concerning the granting of a competitive franchise in the licensees "relevant market area." The change allows the licensee thirty (30) days to file a protest instead of the previous limit of fifteen (15) days.
